The reign of the unpopular Tsar Peter IV was filled with rebellion and conflict. A harsh ruler, Peters mistreatment of the Finns, intolerance for the Bolsheviks, and aggression against the Ukraine stirred revolts across the Russian Empire, culmanating in his Assassination. The remnants of his government, the Boyars, tried desperately to hold on to their lands, but Communists and Republicans slowly usurped their power over five bloody years. Now with the Communists and Republicans essentially controlling the motherland, the war that started with the brutality of Peter IV continues to ravish the country as the three forces; the Communists, the Republicans, and the Boyars, continue to lay siege to one another.
